Help us make a difference.
Ok... tomorrow is the day. Tomorrow is January 22nd. Tomorrow is the day of silent protest to save the unborn. If you have no idea what I am talking about, please go to www.neversilencelife.com and click on the link titled 01.22.09. It will explain in detail what is going down tomorrow. I am asking y'all, with all my heart, to take part in this day. Please set aside time between noon and 2pm (or anytime that works for you) to pray. Pray for the unborn, and the rights that they have. Pray for the women who are currently faced with an unplanned pregnancy, who are comptemplating abortion. Pray that they choose life for their baby. Pray for our new president. And that he will make decisions based on God's plan for our nation, not just his own. Pray that the Freedom Of Choice Act does not pass, and that abortion laws will be made more strict. The only way that we can make a change is to take this to God. He is in control. More than the President, more than the senators, more than anyone in a seat of power. God is in the ultimate seat of power, he is in control. If we raise our voices together, to him, we will change the future. Let's band together as christians, and stand up for the lives of the unborn. It will only take you a few minutes to pray tomorrow. Set aside the time, talk to God, make a difference.

January 22nd, 2009- You Can Make A Difference
Hello everyone!! I know that at this point, y'all have heard me go on and on for a few blogs now about the movement called Never Silence Life. This blog is unlike the other blogs. This is the blog where we are down to the wire. January 22nd is fast approaching us. This is, as I have mentioned before, the day of silent protest. And if protesting, even silently, isn't your thing, you can pray. Between the hours of noon and 2pm, Barlowgirl is encouraging everyone to take time in prayer, to raise our voices up to God at the same time. If you value human life, and you feel that every child deserves a chance at life, this is your chance to make a difference. Pray on the 22nd for the lives of the unborn, for the mothers who are comtemplating abortion, and for the freedom of choice act. Go to neversilencelife.com, and click on the link for the 22nd for more details and info. The site also has many facts and links to sites with facts for you to check out and pray about. So let's raise our voices, for the children of the world. All of the children.

Freedom Of Choice Act
So, as most of y'all know from looking at my page, I have become highly involved in the movement that Barlowgirl started called Never Silence Life. For the rundown on this movement, go to the site neversilencelife.com. I have to admit that I hadn't heard about the Freedom Of Choice Act until it was a prayer topic for the 40 day fast I am involved in. After that, I started paying more attention to it, and what it means for this country. I am trying to have faith that God will work in the heart of President Elect Barack Obama. But after the report I saw on tv this morning about this Freedom Of Choice Act, I am struggling with it enitrely. Obama's words were (don't shoot me if this isn't word for word accurate here) "I have two daughters myself. And I am going to instill in them morals first and foremost. But if they do make a mistake, I want them to have the freedom to not have to be punished by having a baby." This statement was made at a rally he held while on the campaign trail. After hearing this statement, I don not know how anyone could have voted for him as president of this country. To me, that statement devalues human life. To call having a baby a punishment.... that killed me. How anyone could say such a thing, is beyond me. But, like Barlowgirl keeps encouraging us, I am going to try to approach this with a view of love, not hate. I have to admit, after that statement, it is hard for me to not be angry. Instead, it has made me even more passionate about this cause and this movement. It has highlighted the importance of what Barlowgirl is trying to accomplish here.
For those of you who don't know about the Freedom Of Choice Act, I highly encourage you to look it up. Find out the specifics of it for yourselves. Basically, this act will make partial birth abortions legal again, it will allow teens of any age to have an abortion without parental consent, and it will not require doctors to inform women of the procedure or the side effects. This act, if passed, will open the door even wider for abortions. This act will set us back years.
But don't take my word for it, look it up for yourself. Make up your own mind. But please do not sit back and do nothing. Together we can change this, we can make a difference.
